• I dont think you will need a digital tv converter for it. I thought only older tvs need the converter.

• I had an old converter for my old tv and transferred it to this new tv. Before, I had about 6 channels. This new tv, I only got 2! So I bought one of those newer cheap converters for $9.99 and I have about 24 channels! So if you don't get many channels on an old converter, definately move to something more current!

• Yes, I get over 70 channels with the converter...although I seem to get a better signal when the converter is aimed towards the south.
