“I have 12" opening for a TV. Your unit measures 11.2 inches in height without the standing unit it comes with. Is there another means of mounting your TV to stand without adding height? Yes or no answer. If yes, please let me know the type of mounting.”

Well, I use the TV with its feet installed. The height of the TV and stand is 12.25 inches. The bottom of the TV has a little flat base without the feet installed. You could put a Velco strip like they use on wall hangings and if you put 2 on each side (4 total) , it should stand on its own. Good Luck
