“Is the TV image adjustable? Can old letterbox DVDs be shown in BOTH 4x3 image AND expanded to full screen width without deforming the image (making it "fatter" or cutting off part of vertical image)? Will DVDs of old 4x3 TV shows be displayed 4x3?”

• Yes! I just turned off the television, having turned it on solely for the purpose of testing various DVDs of known different aspect ratios. Once the DVD is playing on the screen, the television remote as a chicklet button at the bottom labelled: Aspect Ratio. Cycle through the settings to find the most pleasing picture shape. The image does NOT seem to be distorted in any way using any of the aspect ratios.
