How do we control the volume on the TV. When we try to increase the volume using the remote, the number goes up, but the sound is inaudible. null

Check to make sure the TV speakers are set to on not off and the phone jack is clear. If you still don't get any sound when speakers set to on with a clear phone jack, try plugging a headphone to the TV jack and see if you get sound from there, if so, you may have a bad speaker connection or a bad control board.

To help you fix the issue, please follow the steps: Turn off and unplug the TV. Press and hold the "Power" button on your TV for 60 seconds. Plug it back and turn on the TV. Test the volume.
