There are 2 small, flat U-shaped brackets that screw into the wall. The brackets also have a rounded U-shaped slot at the top. For lack of a better term, you wind up installing a protruding washer (included) onto the back-side of the soundbar with a machined bolt that then vertically slides down into the bracket slot. I was skeptical but it worked good enough for me. I did not install into a stud as the width is predetermined and wouldn't align for me. For stud installation, you would also need to supply your own, longer screws. I did not measure but the brackets are probably between 26"-28" on centers which wouldn't align with any typical framing anyway. Your other wall mount option would be to buy L-shaped brackets that "hold" the soundbar. The only screws for mounting are on the back, not the bottom. I also considered buying special soundbar mounts ($20 on Amazon) to attach and mount below the TV but ultimately settled on what you see.
