It is normal and yes very bright and very annoying i recommend facing it against the wall or electrical tape over the LED makes life better

This facilitates quick pairing once you turn the soundbar on and are ready to use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yep, the blue blinking light is annoying as heck and nothing that black tape can't fix. You only really need it when you first turn it on and make sure that the remote subwoofer is talking to the soundbar.
