Tbh if the drive b4 is dead theres nothing to recover and this is a hard drive enclosure. You may be better with a hard drive usb cable and see if you can recover them to a thumb drive..or your regular p.c.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this is in fact a "sled" as long as it's a small drive (2.5") and is sata it will work, however if the board on the actual hdd is no good it will not work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had an external WD die on me too, mine was the cord and port of the WD drive, i took it apart and installed it in my pc and it worked! so if the drive itself is not dead, you can do this!
