Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, the unit is not frost free. The chiller plate in the back can form ice as it normally reaches freezing temperatures. If the ice gets too thick you'll need to turn off the fridge and leave the door open so that the ice can melt. The water will drain into a black plastic pan above the compressor in the back where it'll start to evaporate. In the rare event there's excess water an overflow exit hole in the pan will drop the water to a metal channel which will direct it out from underneath.
