Hello Hawk, For cleaning DVD discs, you usually want something gentle, I think this screen cleaner might be okay, it's not too abrasive, but honestly, a soft cloth with a bit of distilled water is usually the best bet.

No. It’s for glass cleaning. If you’re looking to clean the label, I suppose so - but not the reading surface.
