A:Answer There's no reason it shouldn't work, but that depends on your repeater, not on the receiver. IR repeaters usually have a receiving unit and a transmitting unit. The repeater transmitter goes where you want to use the remote; somewhere out of the line of sight of the Insignia receiver (why else would you need an IR repeater?). Then the repeater receiver unit goes near the Insignia receiver and the "eye" from that unit has to be placed so the "eye" from the Insignia can see it. To use the repeater, you have to point the remote at the transmitter, which then sends an RF (radio) command to the repeater receiver. That receiver translates the radio code back into IR code and blinks the code to the Insignia receiver.
