We did not try video but we did use a flash drive to do slideshow of pictures (that was the reason we bought it) and The picture was AWFUL! You can adjust the picture settings on each input separately EXCEPT for the usb input that you cannot adjust the picture on AT ALL. It made no sense to me but that is how it is setup. We have pictures run on our samsung(no longer in production) and they look beautiful. This tv- to run the same pictures with no options/adjustments- Our faces looked red and terrible the coloring was just awful and that was the reason we had purchased it so we returned it immediately. If you are wanting it for non quality reasons and the coloring and settings don't matter (business use) it would probably be fine (like I said- you can probably run video because we ran pictures on it fine but I didn't specifically try video) but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants to display their home pictures/videos. Why they would have no adjustments for that input only I will never understand!
