No, it needs the legs. They're not the sturdiest either, so I wouldn't put it where the TV could get knocked or jostled. But they do the job. The quality of the picture is fantastic, and the sound is great.

No. You need the brackets on the bottom to stand it up. I have it on a narrow bookcase in my kitchen. It fits perfectly. I don’t have cable in the kitchen so have an antenna Love it.
