• It has two HDMI inputs and a composite video input so it should work with any DVD player since DVD players would connect to one of these types of inputs.

• The TV has both HDMI and component ports. The component ports are the round colored plugs. I use a Roku player using the HDMI port (the only option for Roku). I have also tested an Amazon Fire stick, but I prefer the Roku. I have a DVD that has component cables (three cables bundled). So I can have the DVR and the Roku connected at the same time. Probably any DVD would work if you use the HDMI port for the DVD.
