Q: QuestionWhat is the maximum design operating temperature for this refrigerator ?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello! Thank you for your question. The maximum operating temperature for this refrigerator is 110°F. It’s designed to run properly in typical indoor conditions, so as long as the surrounding room stays within its intended temperature range, the refrigerator will cool as expected. If the space gets hotter than 110°F, its performance may be affected. Vennila | Insignia

Q: QuestionHow to change the temperature
Asked by Miguel.
- A:Answer Hello Miguel! Thank you for your question. You can change the temperature in Insignia - 10.1 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator by pressing the temperature setting button inside the fridge. Each press moves the setting one step at a time. The fridge starts on Medium (LED 3) by default. After you choose your new setting, the refrigerator will switch to that temperature automatically after about 25 seconds. The LEDs from left to right represent warmer → colder, so just pick the level that works best for you. Darshan | Insignia

Q: QuestionCan it be placed in hvac closet
Asked by George.
- A:Answer Hello George! Thank you for reaching out. The NS‑RTM10SS26L shouldn’t be placed in an HVAC closet because it needs open airflow around the sides and back to prevent overheating. A tight, warm space can reduce cooling performance and shorten the unit’s lifespan. Sidhartha | Insignia

Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello, thank you for your question. The Insignia™ 10.1 Cu. Ft. Top‑Freezer Refrigerator (NS‑RTM10SS26L) is not garage‑ready, and it’s not recommended for RV use. This model has a minimum operating temperature of 55°F, so it won’t cool properly in a garage or any space that gets colder than that.
