“How can you make HDMI input the default? I don't want to start in Fire TV after each power cycle. Must use the TV remote to get out of Fire TV and set HDMI as the input. Extremely frustrating. Other SMART TV's I own do not operate in this manner.”

go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.
