To do this, plug one end of the coaxial cable into the cable wall outlet and the other end into the "Cable/Antenna In" port on the back of your TV. Turn on your TV and press the Home button on your remote, then navigate to the "Settings" menu. Select "Live TV" and then "Channel Scan." Choose "Cable" as the source and start the scan.
