“How do I make it so that when I turn the TV off, it stays on cable and doesn’t go back to the Amazon Fire Stick Home Screen? I have it plugged into HDMI 1 if that helps. No other HDMI ports are being used.”

Try the Power On feature, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input. David M. - Insignia Support
