You question is very subjective. I think its a great picture. Says 720P but its easily as nice as most 1080p. As for the speaker its hard to tell there are no tell tail speaker vents. I would say try TV first before you buy a sound bar depending on what you are using it for. The volume level is pretty decent for the size. I can remember having to buy a sound bar for a larger TV I purchase a few years ago cause I could nearly hear it.
