“Is the only way to use both speakers is by wires? I am using the Bluetooth option, and I want the speakers to be placed on opposite sides of the room. Can the speakers be synced in some way?”

The speakers have to be connected by wires.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are wireless surround speakers but that is not what these are. In theory you can get longer wires to spread them out as far as you like but fully wireless is a different technology
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Bluetooth feature is only on the main powered unit (right speaker). The other speaker (left speaker) is a non-powered satellite. You must use wires to connect it. However, you can just get longer speaker wire than what comes with them.
