• I don’t believe so. I know big refridgerator you shouldn’t lay down. We payed ours down but it wasn’t in that position for long.. it should be fine.

• Should be But we had to transport ours in an suv horizontaly with the top end slightly elevated due to space restrictions of the suv. Took 30 minutes to get home. We set the boxed unit inside upright but unplugged for 24 hours Unboxed the unit and plugged it in the next day with no problems

• I transported to the house on the side as it would not stand upright in my car. Everything was good when unboxed and happy to say it is working well.
