• Yes the width is that but the top hinge of the door is higher than the cabinet height .

• When the door is opened it expands about 1/2" to right of the side. However, it sounds like you may have other issues as there are required installation clearances for proper heat escape (ventilation) when running. You may want to download the manual to see or go to insignia webpage for information. Hope that helps.

• Width with door fully opened 90 degrees increases 3/8". The door should be extended to front of cabinet
