Can this unit be converted to solely a freezer? Some units with a compressor can be converted. I needed a mini freezer about 3 cubic feet and this would be perfect if it's possible. null

Truthfully, I don't know for sure. I had a unit similar to this, same brand. If you set it to lowest cool setting, anything from the back half of the fridge would be coated in ice. Front half stated cool, but not freezing. I am not about to change setting on current fridge as it is perfect for me as it is at 4. So, my best guess, at setting 7. It probably would ice up pretty well.
