“I am using this connection with a new Insignia Portable CD player but the volume is so low I can hardly hear it with the volume on the car and the CD player turned all the way up. What is the problem and is there a solution?”

The problem may not be the wire, but the settings in your system. Try to push the wire all way into both ends of your devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Are you sure it's plugged in all the way? This happens a lot when the stereo connector on the tip isn't leads in the devices. Secondly the portable player probably doesn't have enough power to drive the sound to the car radio, you should turn the portable device up to about 75% volume and then adjust the car radio to your liking. Start there and then turn each up some.
