“I purchased this cable to transfer files and folders from an old windows laptop to a new one. There are no directions, can someone tell me how to use this cable for this transfer? Tks”

• This will only work if one laptop is USB- C (small) and the other USB (large)

• A possible answer can be found with "Help/Connect your Mac to shared computers and servers". I chose not to use it because I did not want to reconfigure my shared computers this way. I have used iCloud instead. It works just fine.
