115 watts very good, saves on energy
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just read .8 amps on start up and 64 watts running. I bought one of these over a month ago and have been playing with it trying to use it as a freezer/fridge. I got the freeze line figured out, the freezer is set on #4 and I needed to put the power cord on a timer. I have it set for 8 15 minute cycles during the day, and 6 15 minute cycles over night for a total of 3.5 hours run time in 24 hours. My Jackery 240 will not power it but my Jackery 1000 does. It will run according to my calculations for 3 days but I have only run it for 24 hours. I'm going to use it in a camper trailer and plan to have electricity every 3 to 4 days. I am making my own blocks of ice with it and storing frozen food. In the upper portion of the chest I store fresh food in one plastic container and also purchased a second basket for fresh food storage. The Ice blocks I put into a high end 77 quart cooler of the Walmart variety and it has far out performed my expectaions. I need to ad 2 blocks every four days and come up with 15lbs of cubes somewhere every 4 days alternating 2 days with blocks. I have a counter top icemaker that does the trick or I can just buy it. I drain the water every 2 days and use the cold water in the icemaker. A great head start using cold water. I know a little off topic but this chest is something I found very useful.
