I would check to make sure the hoses are hooked up correctly. Post my washer installation, I found the hoses needed to be switched.

I wash on hot without any issues. Is your hot water value turned on sufficiently?

Yes. Check to make sure your hot water is on and turn it up if needed. (On the wall behind your washer)
