• These answers are not true, a cable is NOT just a cable. Some cables are not capable of fast charging. Even after some searching online I could not find any info on the charging rate for this cable, and it's very cheap, which in my experience, means it's probably not capable of fast charging. I've returned/replaced many cables that were not capable of fast charging.

• This is a very fast charging cable if not as fast.

• The speed is largely a function of the part you plug into the wall. This cord provides little reduction in the speed of the charger.

• This is just a cable, the charge rate depends on the output of the charger it's attached to.
