• If I understand your question correctly the answer is no. This device connects one output to 3 input devices, in other words: one television to three devices (chromecast, laptop, game system).

• If this is a switch it should work either way. As far as I know there is no direction specified. I intend to test it out since this is what I need, one output device into 2 tvs.
