• This device can hook up 3 separate devices. It doesn't matter the source. So yes. You will need to press the button on it to switch between the three. And power supplied to switch from the separate cable. From what i've experienced and read most HMDI cables can't supply any switch with enough power from the device they are connected too to work reliably.
