My best answer is to trouble shoot and find out where the issue really lies, between your TV and the insignia or the Insignia and the Nintendo. Eliminate the switcher and plug the Nintendo directly to the TV. If the problem disappears then, there is an issue with the insignia. If it doesn't then your problem could be with either your TV or play station. Go on the Insignia website and lookup to see if that is a common issue with the switcher and they probably have an answer for you. Or better yet look it up on YouTube, they may have a video on it.

To use this feature, select "System Settings" → "TV Settings" from the HOME Menu and turn on "Match TV Power State". You may also need to enable the corresponding HDMI settings on your TV.
