A:AnswerHello Main, thank you for your inquiry! We couldn’t find specific information about NSF approval for Insignia™ 18 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator with ENERGY STAR Certification (Model: NS-RTM18SS2). If you’re looking for a refrigerator with NSF certification, you might want to explore other brands or models that explicitly mention it. Keep in mind that NSF certification typically ensures the removal of contaminants, including chlorine, from water. A:AnswerHi NotCool! It sounds like there may be an issue with the airflow in the refrigerator section of your Insignia NS-RTM18SS2. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Make sure that the temperature control settings are properly adjusted for the refrigerator section. The recommended temperature for a refrigerator is around 37-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Check for any obstructions in the air vents inside the refrigerator. Make sure that the vents are not blocked by food items or other objects.
3. Verify that the evaporator fan motor is operating properly. You should be able to hear the fan running when you open the refrigerator door. If the fan is not running, it may need to be replaced.
4. Inspect the door seals for any signs of damage or wear. Proper sealing is important for maintaining the temperature inside the refrigerator.
If you have tried these steps and the issue persists, I recommend contacting Insignia customer service or a certified technician for further assistance by calling us at 1-877-467-4289. Our team is ready to assist with any technical issues or inquiries.

A:AnswerMine as well, along with eggs and sour cream. You are not the only one. I live in a brand new apartment building 8 units have been replaced that I'm aware of and probably more in adjacent building in less than 1 year. I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone!

A:AnswerThe discolored liquid noticed in the white tray at the bottom right side of the back of the refrigerator is likely condensation water collected during the defrost cycle. The white tube hanging downwards is the drain tube connected to the condensation drip tray, intended to channel water outside the refrigerator. Ideally, the tube should be inserted into an upward-facing round cap or drain hole to ensure proper drainage. Regular maintenance involves checking for clogs or buildup in the drip tray and tube and cleaning them as needed to prevent drainage issues.
