A:AnswerHi there,
It shouldn't under normal conditions but it is hard to answer because there are many reasons a GFCI can trip (overload, moisture ect)

A:AnswerHi there!
The compressor startup is typically around 3 Amps but sometimes (depending on an internal timer) the defrost heater also turns on at the same time and startup current can be as high as 5-6 Amps.

A:AnswerHello paul,
Yes you can reverse the door. But before reversing the door position, check the version of your refrigerator to be sure that you have the parts listed below to proceed with the door reversal. To check your refrigerator version, look at the label on the inside left side of the refrigerator cabinet, if the label says "Rev A." contact Insignia Customer Service at 1-877-467-4289 to receive complimentary parts to complete the door reversal.

A:AnswerSince Insignia is Best Buy's store brand (that is, it's exclusive to Best Buy), they could certainly make that assurance. They wouldn't (or at least wouldn't be obligated to) guarantee price vs some other brand, however. Hope that helps.
A:AnswerThis is normal with many fridges. Promotes required circulation around the compressor. When you pull out your fridge to clean the floor, you should also vacuum the space.
A:AnswerYes there are seperate controls for the freezer. The gentleman who delivered mine set both the fridge and the freezer to the recommende settings when delivered but you can change them with a simple control knob
A:AnswerIt does make slight buzzing and humming noises at times when running, but they are barely noticeable. If you have a TV or radio on, or even have a fan blowing, any noise from the fridge will be drowned out.
A:AnswerThere is an ice maker option, but you have to choose it at time of sale. It cannot be dded later because the inside set up is different. Our original sales guys said it could be added later but when I questioned him about the inside, another sales guy said he was wrong. Decide if you want it before you buy it so you get the right model. Set it up later if you need to but don't think you can add it later if you buy the one without it. Good luck.
