“Does it Show Cable Co.'s Digital and HD channels if Coaxial Cable Plugged Directly In? Maybe an odd question, but I wanted to make sure the TV shows my cable company's (Wide Open West) digital and HD channels when the coaxial cable is plugged directly into the TV, without a cable box. I have a Sharp HDTV which shows about 110 digital channels and 8 HD channels with the coaxial cable plugged directly into the TV. The reason I ask if that today I bought a Seiki super low budget HDTV and it did not pick up on its channel scan ANY digital or HD channels when I plugged in the coaxial cable -- it picked up only 15 analog channels. I was very puzzled by this and called Seiki, which told me this was because the TV lacked a QAM tuner. So, I wanted to be sure this Insignia would show the digital and HD channels when the coaxial cable was plugged in”
