This model of TV is only capable of 720 resolution and cannot physically display any signal at 1080. For best results, set the computer to output a signal at 1366 X 768 resolution.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes - 720p is too low a resolution for what you are trying to do.This TV maxes out at 720p; however, BestBuy offers a Weatinghouse 32-inch LED for less than $150 than does support1080p.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are transmitting in a resolution too high for a screen the image cannot be displayed so a default display is likely being selected by your device. You should select a resolution that is as close to the maximum that the screen can support. Most devices also allow for an automatic selection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, You can use a higher Resolution than the monitor can accept. Older monitors would just display a message "Resolution not compatible". Try dropping the resolution, you'll be better off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it shouldn't have anything to do with it being 720. I have a 720 and you cannot tell the difference between the 720 and my 1080.
