• Useing the main menu go to setting then closed captioning. Use the center pad to move over size and then left and right to ajust.

• The only way the TV is going to control the closed captioning is if the device you are watching is connected via coaxial (round, screw on). If you are connected with a coaxial, you will simply need to press the CCD button on the remote repeatedly until the TV is on the setting you prefer. If your device connects any other way (red/white/yellow or HDMI) then the closed captioning is controlled by the source device.
