• On the remote is a button marked "Aspect" you can choose from about 4 or 5 options when you press this on your remote.

• You will have the full screen used if it's on an HD channel or by using an outside device like a dvd player or game console. If you're watching a regular channel the only way to fill the whole screen is to use the zoom button on the remote or change the aspect in the picture settings.

• On the remote push the aspect button, you can keep pusing it to get what you want. ( wide screen, etc. )

• You don't. You see it the way is transmitted. 1080 & 720 resolutions cover the whole screen. 480 covers 24", which still not bad.

• I believe you just go into settings using the remote control and choose wide or full screen.

• I just changed the viewing option to full screen or movie
