Thank you for sharing these images! Yes I'm having the same issue and getting inadequate answers from BestBuy. I chose this 1080p version of the TV because I need to use it as a PC monitor as well, and I've been disappointed in that regard. I love the functionality of the TV, but getting the picture right from my PC via the HDMI input has been a challenge. It's too contrasty, and colors -- like that little Tablo and YouTube icon in your photo -- have a "glowy" effect. I've made sure my display settings are for 1920x1080, and used the Insignia picture settings to select the "PC" profile for the HDMI input that my PC is on, but that was just a starting point. I've played around with toning down the backlight and color settings, and also fooled a little with contrast and brightness, make it more bearable. Reducing color saturation particularly helps. Unfortunately, reducing contrast means that the blacks (which are already gray) get more and more gray. Contrast is usually a really good thing for a PC monitor, but not when it results in all the colors "glowing" on the screen. I'd love to hear from BestBuy on this.
