For the price, this is a nice TV. We got it to replace our old kitchen TV. It has plenty of ports for the various connections we needed. The picture and sound quality for a TV at this level and size is very good. We like having Fire TV incorporated. The menu is easy to navigate. My husband likes this TV (and he's not a "techie").

First i want to address the topic of the remote control. I see negative reviews because some are unhappy with the remote because it doesn't change channels. Its a streaming remote, its not going to change channels because apps dont work that way and the inconvenience is $100.00 less a month so i will deal with it. If u want to change channels then you need to use your remote to your cable box or satellite box on a different hdmi. I have been streaming for 2 yrs on 5 different tvs of different makes, they all glitch and sometimes you have to restart fire tv and sometimes you have to reboot/update your apps by removing them and redownloading them. The tvs are working great and i love them. i love that they are lightweight thats a huge bonus for me. I understand insignias are made with big name brand parts from the year before which is fine with me. The price is great and since sadly, tvs are now made not to last 2 years at best (this was stated by Samsung in an email )i can afford to buy another one in a couple of years.

This smart TV is exactly what we needed for a small space. Most smaller sets have limited capability. The Insignia 32" F-20 is Full HD (1080p), built-in Fire TV, and has 3 HDMI ports (one with ARC) as well as optical digital audio, cable and analog inputs. Only have had it running for 10 days, but so far, so good. We were able to have all of our equipment running to the TV--VHS player (yes, you're reading that correctly), DVD/Blue Ray/FM tuner system, 5 changer CD player, and TV cable/antenna. All audio is then passed through to a Sony speaker base for high quality sound using the HDMI (ARC). This was the only problem--getting the TV and speaker base to "communicate"--there was no sound coming through initially. Disappointingly, Best Buy and the Geek Squad were not helpful with this problem--when I went back to the store with the TV they did not even bother to see if they could get it to work with a speaker base or speaker bar. They just said the built-in TV speakers themselves were working but didn't have a speaker bar handy for testing. Since I was having issues they gave me a replacement TV of the same model. Of course, the same problem of TV to speaker base occurred with the new set. Tip for those who are having this issue: go to "settings"; choose "displays & sounds"; scroll down the menu and check to see if the "HDMI/CEC-Device Control is "on". The default setting seems to be "off" or "disabled". But in order for the HDMI (ARC) to properly carry the audio to a speaker base or bar the CEC needs to be "on". The set-up instructions that come with the TV do not give you this information. Hopefully, knowing this will save you tons of time on the internet trying to figure out what to do. Simple enough solution but if you don't know this and are not tech savvy, it can be quite perplexing. And if the Geek Squad had any experience with this kind of thing they would have known immediately what the problem was when I described it. In sum: great smaller Smart TV with great picture, loaded with apps, and very capable of many inputs/outputs from a variety of sources--BUT, little knowledgable support from Best Buy. On the other hand, the TV itself is a Best Buy brand so I'll have to give them credit for what appears to be a good product.

The picture quality of this TV exceeds my expectations. I use it in the kitchen and didn’t expect the image quality to be as good as it is since all of my other (larger) TV’s are 4K. I will say that this TV is much brighter and sharper than the Panasonic it replaced, which was also 1080p (although much older). I’m terms of sound quality, I’m not a fan of any TV speakers and use sound-bars with subwoofers on all of my other TV’s. That said, the sound quality is a bit better than my larger TV’s. I love the convenience of having Fire TV built in. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a smart TV with great picture quality.

Lots of down time at my job, so I got this TV in my office. I've had it about two weeks. I have used it for streaming and over the air TV with an antenna. Pleased with everything about it. I wall mounted it with a Perlesmith mount from amazon. I would buy another Insignia TV.

Bought this smart tv for the guest bedroom (it’s smaller than my TVs in the primary viewing rooms). Great picture, easy set up. This is my third Insignia television and I heartily recommend this brand.

I now have four Insignia TVs. my new 32 inch TV is being used as a monitor for a closed circuit security system. It has a bright, high contrast picture and a very wide view angle. The picture is bright and clear from wherever I can see the screen. I like the Insignia brand.

Had to have this shipped as the closest store is about an hour away, each way. I had to trust it would be okay, and initially the television was perfect. I haven't had any issues with it until just 2 days ago when it started showing little horizontal lines across the entire screen of the tv. I expected it to last longer than this, and the return/exchange policy at bestbuy honestly is the worst. Other stores are either 30 days minimum or 3 months. It's 15 days here and from receiving was June 16th as my last "return/exchange" date since I received it on June 1st. So just under 2 months of time as of now before having any issues. This can not be fixed with any updates/resets etc. It happens on all inputs and screens. I would require a insignia rep to contact about a replacement that won't fail like this, or just live with the unsightlyness of the lines and hope it doesn't further degrade from what it is now. I took multiple pictures of the screen of what has happened to it. On the home screen, on hulu's recent list with time and date, and showing some trees in the bg on King of the Hill. This issue is rather annoying to look at, and I can't just go out and replace it, especially being less than 2 months old as of right now since I got it. This WAS a brand new television when I got it, and inspected it for damage after opening and it did appear to be fine. If possible I would request Insignia to send me a new one, and I can ship the malfunctioning one to them provided I get a shipping label to do so. I do have the box and everything that came with it still in case of this exact scenario happened.
