Not only that there is no option for ascending order, but if I added stations to favorites, the remote has no button for favorites to quickly access them. Such great experience! It is good there is option to adjust the picture at chroma level, right? Also, those numbers on the remote were too many since they were all eliminated. Why give someone the option to select the channel by number? It is a burden to type in. Let the users scroll right and left channels showing only acronyms and no numbers, and get all frustrated. It is pathetic. The Insignia geniuses do not put themselves in the shoes of elderly who cannot afford (or need) top of the line TVs, and are stuck with a TV they cannot figure out how to setup channels in ascending order. Because there is NO such option. Sure, at 720P resolution, what would you expect?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does seem like channels are all over the place because the geniuses at Insignia decided to do an alphabetical channel sorting option for over the air (OTA) local stations. Therefore, channels lineup is, sadly, listed by the acronyms used by the TV stations. It is a significant flaw, as who would like to learn that for program 6.1 the corresponding acronym is KOIN (locally) and stuff like that. Searching for The CW channel, by name, it is not going to get any results, since the local acronym is KRCW-DT1. So users of Insignia TVs, you need to protest this feature of channel sorting in order to make the geniuses at Insignia see their mistake. Hopefully, someone will be willing to come with a software update that will also give a choice for listing OTA local stations in ascending order.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours automatically did that in ascending order.
