Try to use the Apple - Lightning Digital A/V Adapter - White Model: MD826ZM/A SKU:7007013 to connect your iPad with Lightning port into one of the HDMI inputs on the TV. Also, download the Amazon Fire TV app on your iPad to control the TV over Wi-Fi.
