Recently purchased and the tv is stuck in the language selection mode, during the initial set-up...nothing moves with the remote. Will have to return, if it doesn’t work null

Hey hey , I’ll try to help . First check to make sure the battery’s are in the remote are in correct. If they are then try to use the buttons on the tv to move of the language screen.. 
if that don’t work unplug it and plug it back in.. hopefully one of them will help
