“I have an F20 series TV. Is there a way to power it on and off with an echo device? I see no option for this in the settings and there is no power button in the Alexa app. This is THE most basic functionality, and it’s a branded Fire TV.”

• I don’t know about the series, but my Alexa can operate my Tv. The Fire devices are linked, and I just say Alexa, turn on FireTv.
