How's the volume for hearing impaired? null

You can hook up an external audio device into one of the audio outputs (digital optical or 3.5 mm AUX) on the TV to enhance the sound.

I would say it is as lackluster as any other flat screen tv i have heard. Would recommend a sound bar for extra volume.
