can't really be used as a non-smart TV. For the most part has to be connected to internet from what I can tell. Sort of has a built-in tuner. By that I mean, it has a tuner for various internet channels, including free. But as far as being able to tune in to your local channels, you will need an antenna. I did find that with an antenna, it picked up more channels than my Vizio did.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The first 2 answers don’t know what they are talking about. This TV has 2 HDMI inputs and an “old fashioned” Audio/Stereo input as well. So, Yes. To use it as a “dumb” TV, or a computer monitor, or an XBox/PS5 monitor, or a video camera monitor, just plug in to the many inputs in the back. And the built in Fire TV has an 0TA (OverTheAir) tuner for local TV stations. However. I would not recommend it for the gaming monitor (XBox/PS5) as it only has a 60hz refresh rate, and wouldn’t keep up with all the action.
