“I would like to use a USB with a static photo to show unlimited time. I am in need of a screen to use as a menu, and would like to pick from a list of 'jpgs and have that one display until it is changed. Is that do-able?”

This television is wonderful in itself. You can use the two usb ports for any input you want, such as using a photo program that only shows one picture. You can use the HDMI input ports for your disc player, cable tv (Spectrum/Frontier, etc), Amazon Fire, Roku, etc, as well as plug your desk or laptop in and use it as your screen. However, you can pick a cheaper tv, that have usb and HDMI ports and do the same thing.
