• Press the lock button for a few seconds then press up or down button to change temperature.

• If holding the up or down buttons doesn't work (I know, big du'h), and the lock is off (du'h again) you may have to exchange it. Was disappointed that the lock was for the temperature, not to cooler. Other than that, works well.
