which is colder -20 degree Celsius and -80 degree celsius
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Generally, the same Fahrenheit number is colder than the same Celsius number. However, the comparison between the two is not linear (meaning they do not correlate as a parallel line on a graph). The numerical difference between the two become greater the hotter the temperature. At 0 C the Fahrenheit equivalent is 32 F (so 32 C is warmer than 32 F). At 100 C the Fahrenheit equivalent is 212 F (so 100 C is warmer than 100 F). It is the opposite for decreases in temperature. At -20 C the Fahrenheit equivalent is -4 F. The two temperatures eventually intersect at -40 (where -40 C and -40 F are the same temperature). After this point is where Fahrenheit becomes the lower number at the Celsius equivalent temperature. -60 C equals -76 F. So -60 Celsius is colder than -60 Fahrenheit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Celsius is colder with twice as much farenheit needed

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They measure the same thing differently. They do meet at -40, so for MOST situations in the real world, especially relating to weather, the number in Fahrenheit number is higher. Celsius is easier to LEARN, but doesn't feel as "accurate" as Fahrenheit because Celsius is just based on the freezing and boiling point of water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Both are universal temperature standards used by their respective countries. Neither is 'colder' than the other. Generally, the United States relies on Fahrenheit.
