“Is there anyway to get the wash water cold? I put it on cold or tap cold and only the rinse water is cold. The beginning water for washing is extremely hot. It's shrinking my clothes. I'm so confused?”

I have the same issue. There's something wrong with the machine for sure. It's shrunk all of my clothes -- including length-wise from one day to another. So something I wore on a Friday that fit, if I wash it on a Saturday, it's suddenly too short. It's installed properly and I even had a tech out and they said nothing is wrong with the installation. It's the machine.
