“How do you remove the fabric dispenser compartment? I tried to pull the blue plastic dispenser but its not budging. Also when ai press the button for fabric softener it seemed to stop releasing the softener. It use to release it now it stopped working.”

When the rinse water flows in it hits that round circle where the fabric softner is stored till rinse cycle. No way can it get plugged unless it's super thick, like jello. Watch the macine as it works and you will see for yourself. Take a butter knife and a rag and clean the area.
