When it does the initial spin to set the water level it seems to bunch the laundry to one side instead of equally. I go in to spread it equally then let it fill with water. The problem then is that not everything is under the water level so I have to push null

Ours does the same thing. We started running water and waiting a little before putting the clothes in.
